This project focused on replacing an aging window well and improving how water drains around the basement window. The old materials were removed, excess soil and debris were cleared away, and clean stone was added underneath to help water drain more effectively.
A new, sturdy window well was built using treated lumber, with a drainage layer installed along the exterior to help prevent water from collecting against the foundation. The area was then neatly finished and backfilled with the existing soil.
The result is a stronger, cleaner window well with improved drainage and better long-term protection for the home.
