This customer wanted to upgrade the insulation in their crawlspace and install a vapour barrier on the floor.
Rodent infestation, horrible smell, musty damp insulation pulled out of floor joists, we cleaned it out, sprayed with germicide , re-insulated for a full perimeter seal, put in rodent proof steel mesh , clean space to encapsulate it all and a dehumidifier to regulate the relative humidity.
The homeowner had water coming in from an elevated crawlspace, running down an interior wall in his basement. We installed a 3-inch drain tile and stone to collect and direct the water into a sump. Afterward, we insulated and sealed the entire system.
This project focused on repairing and reinforcing a foundation crack to prevent water intrusion and restore structural strength. The team injected the crack with a flexible sealing material under high pressure to create a permanent water barrier. After performing a flood test to confirm the repair, a carbon fiber weave was applied with epoxy to strengthen the wall and provide long-lasting structural stability.
This project focused on fully sealing, insulating, and reinforcing the crawl space. The team began by cleaning the area, wiping down ducts, removing debris, and applying a mould control treatment to all wood surfaces for a healthier environment. A drainage mat and CleanSpace liner were installed and carefully sealed around piers, walls, and footings to protect against moisture and improve overall air quality.
The piers were wrapped, and new insulation was added to the walls, rim joists, and both customer-installed doors. All seams were sealed to prevent drafts and humidity. Wire mesh was installed where needed for added protection.
To stabilize the structure, steel base jacks were installed along with a joist stabilizer to support sagging or weakened floor sections. This upgrade ensures long-term strength, moisture protection, and improved comfort throughout the home.
