This project focused on improving the window well to better protect the home from water buildup. The old window well materials were removed and properly disposed of, while excess soil and debris were cleared away to create the proper drainage space beneath the window. Clean stone was added to encourage better water flow.
A new window well was built using durable treated lumber, and a drainage layer was installed along the exterior to help direct water away from the foundation. The installation was neatly finished and the area was backfilled to restore the surrounding landscape.
The result is a stronger, longer-lasting window well that helps improve drainage and provides better protection against moisture around the home's foundation.
