This project focused on improving the cleanliness and condition of the crawl space. Heating ducts and sewer lines were carefully wiped down, spider webs and loose debris were removed, and the floor was cleaned. Efflorescence was also vacuumed from the affected surfaces to help improve the appearance and overall condition of the space.
The result is a cleaner, better-maintained crawl space that supports a healthier environment beneath the home and prepares the area for future protection if needed.
Addressing the rotten structure required replacing all damaged wood and redirecting the rain leader away from the house, as it was the main cause of the damage. Additionally, we replaced the old, malodorous fiberglass insulation with new silver airboard insulation.
We cleaned the crawlspace, upgraded the insulation, and eliminated the damp environment
In this project, we worked on strengthening and leveling the floor structure. We carefully raised the floor joist using a steel beam and adjustable supports to make space for a new base. We then installed a protective layer and a solid treated wood base, securely anchored to the foundation. After that, new wall studs were added at regular intervals to ensure everything was properly supported and built to last.
This project focused on refreshing and improving the crawl space. The team cleaned the entire area by wiping down ducts, removing debris and cardboard, vacuuming the floor, and removing old fiberglass and foam insulation. All wood surfaces were then treated with a mould-control solution for a cleaner, healthier environment.
New insulation was installed on the walls and rim joist areas using high-efficiency AirBoard panels. All seams were sealed with foil tape and spray foam to prevent drafts and moisture. The result is a cleaner, better-insulated, and more protected crawl space.
