We transformed the home's foundation and crawl space. Our team reinforced your foundation by injecting a special sealant into cracks and adding durable support. We also protected the home from moisture, mould, and pests with a comprehensive crawl space solution that included a waterproof liner, drainage system, insulation, and airtight sealing.

We recently helped a homeowner completely transform their crawl space into a much cleaner, drier, and more comfortable part of their home. First, we gave the space a full clean-up removing loose debris, wiping down pipes and ducts, and vacuuming the floor to get it ready for the upgrades.

Then we installed a durable drainage mat along the floor and slightly up the walls to help manage any ground moisture and make the space safer and more comfortable for storage. Over that, we sealed everything with a heavy-duty liner that keeps moisture and damp air out, creating a clean, controlled environment underneath the home.

To finish it off, we added high-quality insulation along the walls and rim joists. This helps keep the home warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer, and can even lead to lower energy bills. Everything was sealed up tight to help the crawl space stay dry, fresh, and protected year-round.

To start, we laid down a special matting across the floor to help with drainage and protect against any moisture that might come in through the ground. It also made the space more comfortable and durable, especially if the homeowner wants to use it for storage.

Then, we installed a heavy-duty liner over the entire floor and brought it about two feet up the walls. We carefully sealed it around the edges and support areas to lock out dampness and help keep the air in the home fresher and healthier.

This upgrade not only helps prevent moisture and musty smells but also makes the crawl space easier to maintain and better for the overall home environment.

This project focused on improving the condition and protection of the crawl space. Our team installed the CleanSpace encapsulation system to create a clean, dry, and sealed environment. The liner was securely fastened and air-sealed around all interior footings and piers, and extended about 24 inches up the crawl space walls for added moisture protection.

To support the system, we also placed CleanSpace Drainage Matting underneath the liner. This matting helps water drain properly while adding extra durability and comfort especially useful for storing items in the crawl space. It was installed across the entire floor and continued 6 inches up the exterior walls to help block ground seepage at the floor and wall joint.

The result is a sealed, healthier crawl space that helps protect the home from moisture, mould, and musty odors.
