Crawl Space Cleaning & Foundation Repair in Surrey, BC

For this project, we focused on improving the health and safety of the crawl space and addressing a foundation issue. We treated the affected areas to eliminate mold, cleaned surfaces, and removed debris in half of the crawl space. To help control humidity, we installed a dehumidifier and air purifier. Finally, we repaired a foundation crack using a strong sealing method to prevent future leaks and reinforce the structure.

Crawl Space Encapsulation and Humidity Control Upgrade in Surrey

As a returning customer, this project focused on further improving and protecting the crawl space. We installed a full encapsulation system and sealed it securely around the footings, piers, and up the foundation walls to help block moisture and outside air. A drainage layer was added beneath the liner and extended up the walls to manage ground seepage and create a durable surface.

All wood surfaces were treated to help prevent mould growth and keep the space healthy. A dehumidifier and air purification system was installed to control humidity levels, draining directly into the existing sump system. The unit was properly supported on a stand for reliable performance.

To complete the upgrade, insulation was added in the rim joist area to reduce drafts and improve energy efficiency, and wire mesh was installed where needed to help prevent rodent entry.

These improvements help keep the crawl space dry, insulated, and well-protected—providing long-term comfort and peace of mind.

Crawl Space Insulation and Clean-Up in Surrey, BC

This project focused on transforming an old, unprotected crawl space into a clean, sealed, and energy-efficient area. The team began by removing all old insulation, vapour barrier, and debris to prepare the space for restoration. All surfaces were cleaned, and a disinfectant treatment was applied to eliminate any traces of rodent activity. Wire mesh was installed to close off small gaps or openings in the foundation and rim joist area, helping prevent future pests from entering.

A durable liner was then installed to completely seal the crawl space, protecting it from moisture and creating a healthier environment. Beneath the liner, a drainage layer was added to manage ground moisture and make the floor more comfortable for storage. Finally, new insulated wall panels were carefully installed and sealed, improving energy efficiency and ensuring the space remains dry and fresh year-round.

Crawl Space Structural Reinforcement & Air Quality Upgrade

We just wrapped up a crawl space project focused on strengthening the floor and improving air quality. To support and stabilize the floor above, we installed a new support system and added extra beams and joists where needed to reinforce weak spots. This helps prevent sagging and keeps the structure solid for the long run.

We also gave the crawl space a full cleanup—wiping down the tops of ducts and pipes, removing spider webs, clearing out loose debris, and vacuuming the floor. Old insulation around the rim was removed and replaced with new, energy-efficient material.

To help with moisture control, we installed a dehumidifier and air purifier, which will keep the air drier and healthier. We also treated all the wood surfaces to prevent mold and made sure everything was sealed up properly. A new drainage pump and plumbing system were added, and the area was prepped for electrical work if needed.

Crawl Space Upgrade with Improved Protection and Efficiency

For this project, we transformed the crawl space into a cleaner, drier, and healthier environment. Our team installed a sump pump system to protect against water intrusion and added drainage protection to reduce ground seepage. We sealed and encapsulated the crawl space to keep out outside moisture and improve air quality. The area was fully cleaned and disinfected, including wiping down ducts, removing debris, and applying germicide treatment to concrete surfaces. To further enhance the space, we installed a dehumidifier to control humidity, insulated the rim joists for better energy efficiency, and sealed any possible rodent entry points. These improvements created a durable, protected, and healthier crawl space for the long term.
