To help improve drainage around the home, we drilled a clean opening through the foundation wall and connected our system to the existing rainwater drainpipe. This setup helps direct water away from the house, reducing the risk of pooling, leaks, or foundation damage. Everything was sealed properly to ensure a smooth and reliable connection.
We completed a crawl space project in an area with limited access due to a tree stump near the entrance. Although the space was tight, we were able to install a moisture barrier and insulation in the areas we could safely reach. The crawl space measures approximately 19 feet by 30 feet, and we worked as thoroughly as possible within the accessible sections to help improve comfort, energy efficiency, and overall protection under the home.

We start by clearing out the crawl space, removing any debris, old insulation, and the worn-out vapor barrier to create a clean slate. To keep moisture at bay, we lay down a drainage mat and secure a tough, protective moisture barrier across the floor, footings, and walls. Next, we upgrade the insulation along the walls and rim joists, sealing any gaps to boost energy efficiency. A new insulated crawl space door is installed for better access and added protection. To prevent mold, we treat all wood surfaces with a specialized solution and install a dehumidifier to keep humidity levels in check. A drainage system is also set up to handle excess moisture. Finally, we reinforce the structure by installing adjustable support jacks to stabilize the floor joists. The end result? A cleaner, drier, and stronger crawl space that improves air quality, insulation, and the overall durability of your home.
When a homeowner noticed a musty smell and excess moisture in their crawl space, they knew it was time for a solution. Worried about potential mould and damage, they reached out to us for help. We installed a dehumidifier to keep humidity in check and treated the wood surfaces with a mould prevention solution. To ensure proper drainage, we added a condensate pump. For better insulation and energy efficiency, we installed moisture resistant foam board. Finally, we encapsulated the space with a durable vapor barrier and drainage matting to lock out moisture for good. Now, their crawl space is dry, fresh, and protected, giving them peace of mind and a healthier home.
