This project focused on improving the condition and protection of the crawl space. Our team installed the CleanSpace encapsulation system to create a clean, dry, and sealed environment. The liner was securely fastened and air-sealed around all interior footings and piers, and extended about 24 inches up the crawl space walls for added moisture protection.

To support the system, we also placed CleanSpace Drainage Matting underneath the liner. This matting helps water drain properly while adding extra durability and comfort especially useful for storing items in the crawl space. It was installed across the entire floor and continued 6 inches up the exterior walls to help block ground seepage at the floor and wall joint.

The result is a sealed, healthier crawl space that helps protect the home from moisture, mould, and musty odors.

This project focused on improving water management, sealing the crawl space, and upgrading insulation for better long-term protection. We started by removing the old sump pump and cleaning out the sump pit, then installing a new, more reliable pump to ensure proper water removal. Old plastic piping was removed and disposed of, and the sump lid was secured with new bolts for a tighter seal.

Next, we refreshed the crawl space liner by cleaning the existing material, removing any organic debris, and resealing the top edge along the wall to maintain an airtight barrier. A new drainage layer was installed across the floor and up the walls to help manage ground moisture. Over this, a new liner was installed, extended up the walls, and securely fastened and sealed for added protection.

To improve energy efficiency, new insulation was added to the rim joist area to reduce heat loss and drafts.

Overall, this work helps keep the crawl space dry, clean, and well-sealed, protecting the home from moisture issues while improving comfort and durability for the homeowners.

We added insulation to help make the space warmer, drier, and more energy efficient. The walls were covered with a special moisture resistant material, and all the gaps were sealed to keep out air, dampness, and unwanted smells. We also insulated around the edges of the floor (rim joists) to help stop cold drafts and keep the area more comfortable year-round.

We Installed the Drain tile and Triple Safe Sump Pump system, Installed Rigid insulation on the walls and end pockets, and Installed the Drain mat and Clean Space.

After years of trying to deal with drainage problems in their crawlspace, these homeowners decided to have a proper sump pump system installed in their Surrey, British Columbia home.  Complete with an enclosed lid, battery back up system and water watch alarm.  A Sanidry Crawlspace Dehumidifier was also installed with the Clean Space System.
