Sealing Out Moisture with a Complete Crawl Space Upgrade in Langley

This project focused on replacing the old vapour barrier with a complete moisture protection system to help keep the crawl space dry year-round. The existing vapour barrier was removed, and a new durable liner was installed and carefully sealed around the footings, support piers, and foundation walls to create a continuous barrier against moisture.

To provide complete coverage, each support post was carefully lifted one at a time so the liner could be installed beneath the concrete support pads before the posts were securely reset.

A drainage layer was also installed beneath the liner and extended up the foundation walls to help manage ground seepage, improve durability, and provide long-lasting moisture protection.

The result is a cleaner, drier crawl space with a fully sealed moisture barrier designed to help protect the home's foundation for years to come.
