This project focused on two important areas: improving the structural support beneath the home and protecting the crawl space from moisture.
We started by cleaning the crawl space, wiping down heating ducts and sewer lines, removing spider webs, and clearing loose debris from the floor.
To improve stability, new adjustable support posts were installed beneath the floor system to provide additional support to the joists and beams above.
The crawl space was then sealed with a durable moisture barrier around the footings, piers, and foundation walls. A drainage layer was installed underneath to help manage ground seepage and keep moisture from affecting the space.
The result is a cleaner, drier, and more stable crawl space that helps protect both the foundation and the living areas above.
