This project focused on transforming the crawl space into a cleaner, drier, and more efficient part of the home. We started by cleaning the area, wiping down heating ducts and sewer lines, removing spider webs, and clearing away loose debris.
To improve comfort and reduce energy loss, new insulation was installed along the foundation walls and rim joist areas. All seams and edges were carefully sealed to help block drafts and resist moisture.
To protect the home from ground moisture, a drainage layer was installed beneath a durable crawl space liner that was sealed around footings, piers, and the foundation walls. Together, these systems create a long-lasting barrier against moisture while helping manage water beneath the home.
The result is a cleaner, healthier, and better-protected crawl space that supports improved energy efficiency and long-term home protection.
