Moisture Out, Comfort In: Crawl Space Upgrade

For this project, we focused on creating a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable crawl space. We fully sealed the area to block out moisture and protect against future water seepage. The floor was prepared with a durable barrier that not only prevents dampness but also makes the space easier to use for storage.

We repaired a small opening in the concrete before sealing everything in, ensuring a smooth and solid foundation. To keep the air fresh and dry, we installed a dehumidifier system with its own drainage setup, helping to control humidity year-round.

All wood and organic surfaces were treated to stop mould growth, and the rim joists were insulated and sealed to improve energy efficiency while keeping outside air from leaking in.

Overall, the work gives the crawl space lasting protection, cleaner air, and a more usable environment for the home.
