We just wrapped up a crawl space project focused on strengthening the floor and improving air quality. To support and stabilize the floor above, we installed a new support system and added extra beams and joists where needed to reinforce weak spots. This helps prevent sagging and keeps the structure solid for the long run.
We also gave the crawl space a full cleanup—wiping down the tops of ducts and pipes, removing spider webs, clearing out loose debris, and vacuuming the floor. Old insulation around the rim was removed and replaced with new, energy-efficient material.
To help with moisture control, we installed a dehumidifier and air purifier, which will keep the air drier and healthier. We also treated all the wood surfaces to prevent mold and made sure everything was sealed up properly. A new drainage pump and plumbing system were added, and the area was prepped for electrical work if needed.
