This project included both a safety inspection and finishing improvements in the crawl space area. The team began by inspecting the temporary wooden supports that were installed during the foundation work to ensure they could be safely removed without affecting the structure. Once confirmed, attention was turned to completing the space under the stairs. A protective liner was installed to seal the area, and new rigid insulation panels were added to the walls and ceiling, helping to improve comfort, energy efficiency, and overall cleanliness.
This project focused on addressing water buildup and cleaning up the crawl space. We pumped out the standing water to eliminate moisture and prevent further issues. The area was then cleaned by removing debris, wiping down ducts and sewer lines, and clearing out spider webs.
Damaged insulation and tar paper were removed from the walls and properly disposed of, leaving the space ready for future improvements.
This work helps reduce moisture levels, prevent odours and mould growth, and create a safer, healthier environment under the home.
The Super Sump and Feedline system is a basement waterproofing solution that effectively manages excess water and prevents moisture buildup. This job involves installing a powerful sump pump and a specialized feedline to ensure the basement stays dry and protected from water damage.
This project focused on replacing an aging window well and improving how water drains around the basement window. The old materials were removed, excess soil and debris were cleared away, and clean stone was added underneath to help water drain more effectively.
A new, sturdy window well was built using treated lumber, with a drainage layer installed along the exterior to help prevent water from collecting against the foundation. The area was then neatly finished and backfilled with the existing soil.
The result is a stronger, cleaner window well with improved drainage and better long-term protection for the home.
