This project focused on refreshing and sanitizing the crawl space. The area was thoroughly cleaned by wiping down heating ducts and sewer lines, removing spider webs, sweeping and clearing debris, and vacuuming the floor. To finish, the crawl space was treated with a mould-control spray to help prevent mould growth and keep the space clean and healthy.
We completed a window well improvement project to help with drainage and overall appearance. First, we removed the old window well materials and cleared away any excess soil and debris to create proper space below the window. We then added clean stone at the bottom to help water drain away properly.
Next, we built a new window well using treated wood and installed a drainage mat along the outside to help guide water away from the foundation. The top of the mat was neatly finished with a trim piece to keep everything secure and tidy. Once everything was in place, we used the original soil to backfill the area, leaving it clean and functional.
We installed a powerful water pump system to keep your crawl space dry. This system includes a pump, a protective liner, a water alarm, and a sturdy base. The pump is designed to remove any water that collects and sends it safely away through your plumbing.
This project focused on stopping water intrusion and protecting the crawl space from future moisture issues. The foundation crack was repaired using a pressure injection method to fully seal the area from the inside. A flexible wall repair system was then applied over the crack for added protection and a clean finished appearance. The area was cleaned thoroughly afterward, and any insulation removed during the process was reinstalled as needed.
To further protect the crawl space, a full liner system was installed and sealed around footings, piers, and along the foundation walls to help keep moisture and outside air out. A drainage layer was added beneath the liner and extended up the walls to help manage ground seepage and improve durability.
All wood surfaces were also treated to help prevent mould growth and maintain a healthier environment.
Together, these upgrades help keep the crawl space dry, cleaner, and better protected—providing long-term moisture control and peace of mind for the homeowners.
We recently helped a homeowner completely refresh their crawl space, turning it from a damp, messy area into a clean, dry, and usable space.
The floor used to be bare dirt, so we started by adding a drainage system and a reliable sump pump to keep water out even during power outages, thanks to a battery backup. We also added ventilation to improve air quality and help control moisture.
To seal everything up, we installed a heavy-duty liner across the entire floor and walls, making the space feel much cleaner and more secure. Underneath that, we added a layer that helps with comfort and protects against ground moisture—perfect if they ever want to use the space for storage. We gave the area a deep clean, removed the old vapor barrier, got rid of spider webs, and treated the concrete for any lingering smells. We even wiped down the heating ducts and sewer lines. To make sure the crawl space stays warm and energy efficient, we added solid insulation to the walls and sealed everything tightly. We also checked for any small gaps or cracks and sealed them up with mesh to help keep pests out.
Since access was tricky, we created a custom hatch through a closet to make getting in and out easier in the future.
Now the crawl space is dry, insulated, and so much healthier, giving the homeowner peace of mind and a better home environment.
