We just wrapped up a crawl space project focused on strengthening the floor and improving air quality. To support and stabilize the floor above, we installed a new support system and added extra beams and joists where needed to reinforce weak spots. This helps prevent sagging and keeps the structure solid for the long run.
We also gave the crawl space a full cleanup—wiping down the tops of ducts and pipes, removing spider webs, clearing out loose debris, and vacuuming the floor. Old insulation around the rim was removed and replaced with new, energy-efficient material.
To help with moisture control, we installed a dehumidifier and air purifier, which will keep the air drier and healthier. We also treated all the wood surfaces to prevent mold and made sure everything was sealed up properly. A new drainage pump and plumbing system were added, and the area was prepped for electrical work if needed.
For this project, we transformed the crawl space into a cleaner, drier, and healthier environment. Our team installed a sump pump system to protect against water intrusion and added drainage protection to reduce ground seepage. We sealed and encapsulated the crawl space to keep out outside moisture and improve air quality. The area was fully cleaned and disinfected, including wiping down ducts, removing debris, and applying germicide treatment to concrete surfaces. To further enhance the space, we installed a dehumidifier to control humidity, insulated the rim joists for better energy efficiency, and sealed any possible rodent entry points. These improvements created a durable, protected, and healthier crawl space for the long term.
This project focused on sealing and improving the crawl space while upgrading the overhang area. A full CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed and sealed along the bottom edge of the existing wall insulation to block moisture and improve air quality. A drainage mat was placed beneath the liner to manage ground seepage and create a durable, comfortable surface.
All wood surfaces were treated with a mould-control solution for added protection. In the overhang, old insulation was removed, the area was vacuumed and disinfected, and wire mesh was installed over any gaps or openings to help prevent rodent entry. The overhang was then re-insulated using SilverBoard rigid foam for better efficiency and long-term durability.
In this project, we focused on improving air quality, reducing moisture, and keeping the crawl space clean and well-protected. We installed a high-quality dehumidifier and air purifier to control humidity and filter the air, helping prevent mould and musty odours. All wood surfaces were treated to kill existing mould, and the crawl space was sealed with a durable liner and drainage matting to block ground moisture. We also wrapped the base of the piers for extra protection, cleaned the ducts and pipes, and removed any debris and cobwebs. With regular filter replacements and ongoing maintenance, this space will stay cleaner, healthier, and better protected for years to come.
This project focused on refreshing and sanitizing the crawl space. The area was thoroughly cleaned by wiping down heating ducts and sewer lines, removing spider webs, sweeping and clearing debris, and vacuuming the floor. To finish, the crawl space was treated with a mould-control spray to help prevent mould growth and keep the space clean and healthy.
