This project involved fully sealing and refreshing the crawl space to create a cleaner and more protected environment. The team began by wiping down ducts, removing spider webs, clearing loose debris, and removing the old vapour barrier and fiberglass insulation. All removed materials were properly bagged and disposed of.
A CleanSpace drainage mat was then installed to help manage ground moisture, followed by a full CleanSpace encapsulation system that was carefully sealed around piers, footings, and along the foundation walls. All wood surfaces were treated with a mould-control solution for added protection.
To finish, insulation was installed on the walls, with all seams and gaps sealed to improve energy efficiency and keep the crawl space dry and comfortable.
This project focused on transforming the crawl space into a dry, clean, and controlled environment. A sump pump system was installed and connected to the main drain line to effectively remove any water entering the space. A dedicated electrical outlet was also included to support the system and future equipment.
To manage moisture, a full encapsulation system was installed along the floors and walls, along with a drainage layer underneath to help prevent groundwater from seeping in. A dehumidifier was also added to control humidity levels and improve overall air quality in the home.
The space was treated to eliminate mould on organic surfaces, and new wall insulation was installed to help regulate temperature and prevent moisture absorption.
Overall, this upgrade helps protect the home from water damage, reduces humidity and musty odours, and creates a healthier, more energy-efficient environment.
We take a comprehensive approach to keeping your crawl space dry, insulated, and protected. First, we install a durable drainage mat across the floor and partway up the walls to help prevent moisture from seeping in while also making the surface sturdier for storage. Next, we add high-quality insulation along the rim joists to improve energy efficiency and keep your home more comfortable. To ensure a healthier environment, we treat all wood surfaces with a specialized mold prevention solution. Finally, we securely fasten and seal a heavy-duty moisture barrier to the footings, piers, and foundation walls, creating a fully encapsulated space that helps control humidity, prevent mould, and protect your home from moisture-related damage.
This project focused on improving air quality and moisture control in the crawl space. A dehumidifier and air purification system was installed to help regulate humidity levels and reduce damp conditions that can lead to mould and odors. The system was set up with a condensate pump connected to existing plumbing for reliable drainage.
A dedicated electrical outlet was installed to safely power the new equipment. To improve energy efficiency, insulation was added to the rim joist area to help reduce drafts and heat loss.
Together, these upgrades help keep the crawl space dry, comfortable, and better protected, with warranty coverage for added peace of mind.
This project involved rebuilding two window wells to improve drainage and protect the foundation. The existing window well materials were removed and properly disposed of. Excess soil and debris were cleared to create a six-inch clearance below each window, and clean stone was added to help water drain away efficiently.
New window wells were then built using treated lumber for durability. A drainage mat was installed along the exterior of each window well to guide water away from the foundation, with the top edge neatly finished using a mould strip. Finally, the areas were backfilled with the existing soil, leaving both window wells clean, stable, and well-protected.
