DEPARTMENT: Production

REPORTS TO: Foreman

JOB SUMMARY: Loads trucks in preparation for the job site. Performs installation duties according to company-approved methods, standards, and timetables. Safe methods are used when handling tools and equipment. Supports the management and mission of the company. Feel comfortable working in crawlspaces

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs installation duties according to company-approved methods and as instructed by foreman and co-foreman. Completes work to meet company standards and timetables. Uses safe methods in handling tools and equipment. Makes efficient use of time. Loads trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed by the foreman and co-foreman. Safe methods of handling tools and equipment are used. Makes efficient use of time.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSAs) and TALENTS:

Skill in using tools and equipment preferred.

Ability to follow directions and specific instructions.

Strong attention to detail

Ability to Learn

Adaptability

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.

2. Six months of experience as a skilled or semi-skilled laborer preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid BC Drivers License

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Can lift 50 lbs

Friendly, outgoing personality, respectful, positive attitude, reliable, honest, and self-motivated

Common sense and strong work

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Must be fluent in English.

Must be comfortable with short and/or tight spaces

We offer competitive wages starting at $20-22 per hour for the right candidate plus bonuses.

Experience would be an asset, but is not necessary as we have a full training program, including dealing with customers.
