Wondering the approximate cost to have your skim system in my crawl space. It is approximately 900 sq'. I would love to keep rats out of the space. They had gotten into my house and it's a bit horrifying. Also I gather that this work may reduce my heating costs. Also I'd love to get rid of any mould down there as that is one thing I'm allergic to. Looking for a ball park figure. I prefer you to email me to begin with. Thanks Catherine

Hello, We bought a house in 2021 in Richmond near the airport. We had the house inspected before buying and one of the recommendations was to get the crawlspace cleaned and insulated. We are now at a point where we would like to get a quote. Much of the old insulation has fallen to the ground and there is tears in the ground plastic too. There is some rodents down there that I have been catching in traps so there is some entry holes that I have not been able to find.

A water pipe cracked in my crawlspace on Dec. 23rd and was quickly repaired, leaving us to clear out the crawlspace and set up a dehumidifier. Although the dehumidifier seemed to have dried things out, it's drawing water again and we now have a mice problem thanks to oldfashioned (1972) crawlspace vents and having the crawlspace doors open into the house. The vents need to be sealed and the damage assessed and fixed as soon as possible.
